Ziarat Town is located in the district of Ziarat in Pakistan. It is one of the well-known holiday resorts in Balochistan. Ziarat is "a Mohammedan shrine". Ziarat was the summer residency for the chief commissioner of Balochistan. It also served as a sanatorium for the European troops at Quetta. Ziarat Town is one of the well-known tourist attractions in Balochistan.

There is a "Residency" in Ziarat where Muhammad Ali Jinnah spent the last two days of his life. Ziarat became very popular for "The Residency". The Residency was built out of wood in the year 1892. The structure is very nicely adorned and holds a great significance in terms of its architecture. Later it was transformed into the summer residency of the chief commissioner of Balochistan. "The Residency" has presently become a National Monument. A great source of attraction for the tourists visiting Balochistan, "The Residency" is marked by an ambience which is amazing and beautiful.
