Karachi in the southern end of Pakistan is the center of business and culture. The city is the largest in the whole of Pakistan and is the melting pot of different cultures.   • Beaches - The beaches of stretches for miles. The widely visited among them are Sandspit, Hawkeas and Paradise Point, located within a radius of 10 to 20 kms from the center of the city. It will take around 30 minutes by car. The beaches are dotted with huts for hire and are ideal for honeymooners. Visitors to the beaches must be careful to swim in the safe areas as strong current are present at many places. During the months of May and June, Jelly fish can be seen which is a great sight. In the months of September and October, big turtles plod across the beaches to lay eggs. The turtles are protected under the Sindh Wild Life Management Board.
French Beach This beach is situated between Kawks Bay and Paradise Point and is actually a small village. The beach is surrounded by a boundary wall and has more than 20 huts for hire. The rocky beach ns clear blue water and is ideal for snorkeling as well as skin diving. One can also go for scuba diving in boats which are available for hire.

  • Wazir Museum - This is the birthplace of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The building is situated on Newneham Road, in Kharadar, which is among the oldest resdential areas of the city.
  • Quaid-E-Azam's mausoleum - This is a white marble Mausoleum is an impressive landmark of Karachi.
  • National Museum of Pakistan - This museum is situated on Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road and has important collection of items of Pakistan's ancient heritage. One can see display of Indus Civilization artifacts, Gandhara sculptures, Islamic art, ancient coins, miniature paintings and important documents of the political history of Pakistan.
  • Empress Market - This market was built by the British to mark the silver Jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign. The market has the architecture of Gothic style, with a tall clock tower rising from the center.
  • Sindh High Court - The building is a magnificent sandstone structure of local and Roman styles of architecture, which is built in the renaissance style.
  • Mereweather Tower - This is a landmark structure of Karachi and is the main business center. The construction work of the Tower was completed and inaugurated by Sir Evans James in 1892.
  • MAsjid-E-Tooba - This is a modern architecture marvel in the Defence Housing Authority, and is the largest single dome mosque.
