Shalamar Garden

Located 8 kilometers east of Lahore, it is one of the popular Lahore Tourist Attractions. Built in 16th century by Shahjehan, Shalamar Garden was used as the Royal pleasure Garden by the Mughals during 16th to 19th century and are divided into 3 parts on different levels. The entire garden with its tanks, fountains and flower beds covers an area of 80 acres. The idea of making Shalamar Garden was strongly influenced by the gardens of the same name in Kashmir.

Badshahi Masjid

Built in 1673 by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, Badshahi Masjid is one of the city's best known landmarks. The mosque is capable of accommodating more than 55,000 worshippers.

Shahi Qila

Situated in the northwestern corner of Lahore, the Lahore Fort is locally known as Shahi Qila. The fort was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Some of the famous sites within the fort include Sheesh Mahal, Alamgiri Gate, Naulakha pavilion, Moti Masjid.

Minar-e-Pakistan

The 60 meters high concrete unique minaret of Minar-e-Pakistan in Iqbal Park is one of the popular Lahore Tourist Attractions.

Lahore Museum

Established in 1894, Lahore Museum houses some fine specimens of Mughal and Sikh door-ways and wood-work along with a treasured collection of paintings and musical instruments, ancient jewelry, textiles, pottery and armory.

Masjid Wazir Khan

Masjid Wazir Khan is famous for its gorgeous tile work. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan, Masjid Wazir Khan has been described as 'a mole on the cheek of Lahore'.

Jehangir's Tomb

Jahangir was the father of Shah Jahan. He died in 1625 and his son Shah Jahan built Jahangir's tomb on the site of an existing garden laid out by Nur Jahan, Jahangir's wife.
