The Museum of Religious Art

The main aim of The Museum of Religious Art in Cajamarca is to preserve and exhibit various religious artifacts and other displays that reflect the age old traditions and culture of this place. This church, as all other Franciscan monasteries has catacombs where the monks were buried. These are rather bare, although there are a few skulls and bones which you can see. The entrance charge for the church is 1$.

Opening Hours of The Museum of Religious Art: The Museo de Arte Religioso or Cajamarca’s Museum of Religious Art remains open for public viewing from Monday to Friday. The visiting hours of this museum extend from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors have to pay a nominal admission charge for entering this museum.
