Mid February - Throughout Peru, Pre-Lenten carnival is celebrated, but Puno and cajamarca have "la pandilla" dancing along with traditional dancing.

The Fiesta de la Vendimia in Ica - It is the grape harvest festival at the Ica valley. There are parades, dances and revelry.

The Cruz Velacuy in Cuzco - It is a festival in which crosses in every church is veiled and there are festivities all over.

First week is the mountaineering week in the Andes in Huaraz. There are major ski competitions during this time.

Corpus Christi in Cuzco - There are displays of religious folklore during this festival.
24 June - Inti Raymi or the festival of sun is held in Cuzco.
