Cuzco has a number of local attractions that make this place perfect as a tourist destination. This place reflects a lot of Spanish influence and San Blas Church is one such monument that dates back to 1563. This is the oldest Parish church at Cuzco. San Blas Church is built in Baroque style. The pulpit is quite spectacular and is a reflection of the Spanish era. The doors of this church were probably opened to the public in 1544 by Bishop Juan Solano.

The overall structure of San Blas Church in Cuzco is quite simple. This all white building originally had a rectangular soil plain and adobe walls. The earthquake of 1650 damaged the church and during reconstruction stone walls were used. San Blas Church has one stone tower, two columns and one door. There is a small bell that is connected to the tower. Located in Barrio de San Blas this church has intricate features. This religious monument is built in the style of Spanish Churrigueresque. Located at Saint Blas Small Square this church can be visited from Monday through Saturday from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. Inside the church the most attractive piece of art is the Pulpit of San Blas. This filigree is made out of cedar wood. The artist, however, is not known. Other than this there is the statue of Saint Paul which is also worth witnessing. San Blas Church is thus an important Sightseeing in Cuzco.
