Baguio Botanical Garden, Baguio stands as one of the most fascinating and famous tourist attractions in Baguio. The city of Baguio located to the northern part of Luzon in Philippines harbors several plush parks and gorgeous gardens. Situated to the eastern part of the downtown region of the city of Baguio, the Baguio Botanical Garden in Baguio is flanked by the Pacdal Circle and the Teacher's Camp. The chief entranceway to the garden is on the side of the Leonard Wood Road. The entrance is right across the road from the Baguio Vacation Hotel and the Gilberto's Hotel.

During sightseeing in Baguio Botanical Garden, tourists will get to note that this park covers indeed a pretty large area. The Botanical Garden is also referred to as the Igorot Village. In the park can be seen picturesque traditional huts which resemble the typical Igorot habitation as in the Cordilleras.

The Igorot village in the garden amidst a serene environment reflects the culture and heritage of the region. The garden with its natural surroundings makes for a good place for absolute relaxation or for a stroll. The winding lanes are apt to take a short and relaxed walk. While walking along those lanes tourists can admire the unique flora of the region. The whole variety of plants and trees render the place its actual charm.

Earlier, Igorot customs and rites and dance performances were organized in an outdoor stage in the village. At present, many native students visit this garden to enjoy some moments of relaxation. While entering the Botanical Garden, tourists will meet a group of Igorots at the chief entranceway. These Igorots can be seen in their traditional costumes. They are ready to pose for a snap with the tourists only if they are given some amount of money in return.

Several plants are sold out in the Baguio Botanical Garden, Baguio. This city situated at a height of about 5,000 feet above sea level, enjoys quite a low temperature which supports the growth of various trees and plants. However, it needs to be kept in mind that certain plants are not suited to grow in the lowland regions where the climatic conditions are wet and warm as compared to that in the city of Baguio. The bright and colorful flora demand admiration to a great deal. Tourists are recommended to bring cameras in order to click some amazing snaps in the garden.
