Accommodation Options: In the Old Town, the best option for you to saty for the night is in the Hotel Real Audiencia, which will suit the budget travelers well. Alternatively, the best hotle and most highly priced hotel in Quito is the Swis Hotel, for the extravagant travelers. In New Town there is no dearth of good accommodation. The La Casa de Elize and the EL Centro Del Mundo are the good hotels available at low rates. Mid – range accommodation include the Hostal de la Rabida and the Hostal Casa Kanela.
Food and Wine: You will get cuisines from all around the world to satisfy your hunger pangs. In the New Town, the La Vina serves the best international cuisine. If you are looking for the Chinese dishes, then ask for “Chifas” because that is how the local people refer to the Chinese restaurants as. The Theatrum Quito Fine Restaurant & Wine Bar is a place where you can expect to get a feel of the culture of Quito along with the taste.
