Russian Cuisine is a varied and offers plenty of unique dishes making the cuisine popular and distinctive. The fine blend of the newer technique with traditional Russian cooking produced new dishes. Use of seasoning, dessert and salads were also part of the meals.

The country offers an amazing variety of this special Russian drink. Tourists should definitely taste the colorless Moskovskaya available in the various bars located in every part of the country. ‘Kvass’ is a well known soft drink in the country.

Every household in the country also has good stock of traditional recopies. It is common to find varieties of pies, sauerkraut and pickles. Mushrooms recipes are also common in the country. One can eat it fried, salted, pickled, and simply boiled.
