The most important the celebrated among the botanical gardens is the Russian Academy of Sciences’ main Botanical gardens. The garden is the home to a large variety of native and tropical plants. Spreading overt 360 hectares the garden has picturesque parkland and a number of green houses. The garden in Moscow is situated in the northwest part of the city and lies next to All Russia Exhibition Center.

The Botanical garden is treasure house of the botanists all over the world as the garden has over 2500 varieties of roses including many rare varieties. Close to the Botanical gardens lie the Apothrcaroes' garden belonging to the 17th century where many medicinal plants are grown. The garden is open on all days from Wednesday to Sunday from !0 o clock in the morning till 4 in the evening. Vladykino Station is the nearest Metro Station. Russian Academy of Sciences’ main Botanical gardens is must visit place to view Wildlife in Moscow.

Moscow zoo is another must visit attraction to be acquainted with the Wildlife in Moscow and is a favorite of the children. There are more than 500 animals belonging to different species at the zoo. The zoo remains open from 10 in the morning till 5 o’ clock in the evening. The zoo is closed on Mondays. Barikadnaya metro Station is the closest metro Station.

To view Wildlife in Moscow visit Elk Island National Nature Park which is the home to over 200 variety of species of animals and is the only one of its kind in entire Europe. Located in the suburban region in the northwestern part of the city, the nature park is the abode of dappled deer, roe deer, elk, wild boar, beavers, otters and rare birds like pheasant, gray patridge and egret. The park also has pine trees which are more than 200 years old and spruces which are over 170 years old. Ulitsa Podbelskogo is the nearest metro Station.

Troparevsky forest park is another interesting place to visit to view the Wildlife in Moscow. The park lying on the southwestern part of the city has hiking trails too. The park is the home to over 150 varieties of plants and more than 70 varieties of animals including squirrels, moles, hares, ferrets and innumerable birds. The park lies at walking distance from Yugo Zapadnaya Metro Station.
