Anna Akhmatova Museum, in Saint Petersburg is a well-known tourist attraction in the city and a major museum in the country of Russia. The museum is dedicated to the works of the famous Russian poetess of 19th Century Russia, Anna Akhmatova. The museum was started in the year 1989 and is situated in the Sheremetev’s Palace.
In the garden wings of the museum, the poetess lived for many years. This house is known as the fountain house and is mentioned in the works of the poetess. The poet lived in this house from 1920 until February, 1952. During seizure of the house, she has to move on.
