One can easily get to Savii by a small car ferry. It takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes from Mulifanua Port on the western edge of Upolu to reach this island. One can travel across the entire island in a few days or explore it at a leisurely pace and cover it in a week.. One will be besotted by the verdant scenery which looks beautiful as it stands in stark contrast with the coastline. The most westerly point of the island is only a few hundred miles from the International date line.
