Sainte Anne, Seychelles is the largest island in the Marine National Park off Mahe. It is dominated by a large mountain which rises to a height of about 800 feet. The mountain is surrounded by thick tropical vegetation. The first settlers of the Seychelles lived in Sainte Anne, Seychelles.
The Island gets its name from the date of its discovery. It was discovered on Saint Anne's Day. Here young people aged between 15 to 17 would spend some time living on the island as part of their state education. It has since been developed into a five star hotel, which controls access to the island.
