Tulagi, one of the popular tourist destinations in Florida Islands, is an island situated of the southern coast of the spectacular Florida island. The island was occupied by the Japanese during the second world war in 1942. The Japanese wanted to set a seaplane base here on the island. However, the ships standing in the Tulagi harbor were destroyed by planes from USS Yorktown. On August 7th the US forces invaded Tulagi. Tulagi is home to many Second world war wrecks.
