The Islamic literature of this country goes back to the fast half of the fourteenth century. It is during this time that Shaykh Al-Zayla'i produced Tabayin al-Haqa’iq li Sharh Kanz al-Daqa’iq. Maja'mut al-Mubaraka is another literary piece which was composed by Shaykh Abdullah al-Qalanqooli. This piece was issued for the first time in Cairo in the year 1918.
