Chapman’s Peak Drive is one of the most dramatic and strikingly beautiful coastal roads in Cape Town. Chapman’s Peak is the name of a mountain which is situated on the Western side of the Cape Peninsula and about 15 kilometers south to the city of Cape Town in South Africa. Chapman’s Peak Drive is picturesque road that stretches from Hout Bay to Noordhoek.
The top of the Chapman's Peak Mountain comprises of flat and sedimentary rocks and the base of which is made of Cape Granite. The driving route is a popular hiking trail offering outstanding hiking experience which leads the adventure seeking tourists to the peak. The hiking route includes Silvermine Nature Reserve, the Cape Peninsula National Park and some prominent whale watching spots.
You can also see a nice village of Noordhoek and the suburbs of Kommetjie, Scarborough and Fish Hoek located at the neighboring areas of the driving road.
