Shamwari Game Reserve: Located 73 kilometers away from the city this wildlife center is home to the "Big Five" of Africa. Here tourists can see a number of species by traveling through the park. For this you need to avail the early morning and evening game drives.

Snake Park: in this park you can discover a wide variety of exotic and indigenous snakes, from tiny adders to monstrous pythons. All of these are housed safely in cages behind glass. Besides these you can also enjoy a fascinating glimpse of some interesting reptiles and amphibians.

Do not miss to check out the endangered West African Dwarf crocodile lying semi-submerged in the pool, lizards basking warmly on rocks in the sun and tortoises slowly chewing their greens. Bird lovers will have a great time watching the colorful bird life. You can also visit the Museum to check a life size replica of the giant prehistoric Algoasaurus dinosaur that lived once in Port Elizabeth. If you want to see dolphins, sharks, seals and penguins then visit the Oceanarium.

Addo Elephant Park: want to have a glimpse of a large number of elephants then visit this park as it has the largest concentrated population of elephant in the world. Here you can see Rhino, Elephant, Lion and many other animals.
