Los Glaciares National Park is located on the border of Chile and Argentina and runs for 170 kms. It features rocky mountain ranges and clear lakes. Forty percent of the park is covered by ice fields and glaciers. The largest glacier is Upsala and Lago Argentino is the largest lake of the park. This park in Argentina is a major crowd puller and attracts millions of visitors from all across the world.

Easter Island, located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is a volcanic island that is one of the popular tourist sites of South America. It is renowned for its stone statues, or moais, forming a ring around the coast. The island is also home to 300 statues and other items of stonework, all of which were built during the 10th to16th centuries. Thus it is an important historical site as well as an important research site.
