On a clear day you can see the Daema Island (Tsushima in Japanese) from here which is 56 kilometers away. From the observation deck the views are breathtaking and the white lighthouse together with the green sea looks picturesque.
From the entrance of the Taejongdae, Busan to the lighthouse is quite long. But you can avail a shuttle bus which runs from the shops. While visiting here you can eat at several restaurants at the entrance near the ticket office. You can enjoy traditional Korean style meals of boiled chicken and duck at some of the restaurants.
