  • Bulgaska Temple and Seokguram Grotto: It is the masterpiece temple at the bottom of Mt. Tohamson, housing the seven national treasures of Korea. The Grotto is an artificial cave with an arched entrance. There is a massive statue of Lord Buddha carved out of stone in the cave. Together they have been designated as the World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.

  • Bomun Lake Resort: It is an international tourist resort at the highway system of Daegu.

  • Mt Namsen: It is the mountain at a height of 494 meters above sea level, in the southern part of the Gyeongju City. There are many temples, pagodas, stone images of Lord Buddha located on this mountain.

  • Mt.Palgongsan: This is the holy mountain, situated at the north eastern region of Daegu. Birobong Peak is the highest peak. The Donghwasa temple is the most visited place in this mountain.

  • Donghwasa Temple: This temple on the Mt.Palgongsan is about a millennium years old. It was built during the rule of Silla Dynasty.

  • Buinsa Temple: This is an affiliate temple to the Donghwasa temple, built in the 7th century. This is also known as the memorial temple of Queen Seondeok of the Silla dynasty.

  • Tomb Park of Jisandon: This is an area dotted with numerous tombs of various shapes and sizes, lined along the southern ridge of Mt. Jusan.

  • Pagyesa Temple: This temple located at about 10 minutes driving distance from the Donghwasa temple, is vividly related to the king Yeongjo of the Jodeon dynasty.

  • Gatbawi : This is the stone figure of Lord Buddha with a stone hat on his head; the name Gatbawi signifies the fact. It is located at the top of Gwanbong peak, at an elevation of 850 meters above sea level.
