Mt. Jangtaesan, Daejeon is one of the eight beautiful sights in Daejeon that is in store for the tourist to be explored. Mt. Jangtaesan, Daejeon is the first privately maintained natural forest in South Korea. This is a forest that was watered or developed by the forces of nature. Rather it was developed and nurtured for 30 years by an individual who spent his life to create a forest that would provide a clean and pollution free air to tourists.
Mt. Jangtaesan in Daejeon is spread over 2,50,000 pyeong in the south eastern part of Daejeon. Mt. Jangtaesan in Daejeon joins together with Daedunsan which is also called as Small Diamond Mountain to make some beautiful scenic valleys and a splendid mountain range.
It is located around Jangan-dong in Seo-gu. This is one of the most scenic of the Eight spots in Daejong. Here you also have some fine arrangements for dining during your visit. There are many local restaurants located at the foothills of Jangtaesan Mountain.
