Gangam Calligraphy Museum, Jeonju is a must visit while Sightseeing in Jeonju. This city of Jeonju is situated in Jeollabuk-do (North Jeolla) Province. The city is also the capital of this province. The Gangam Calligraphy Museum, Jeonju was opened in 1995. It is located in the Jeonju Hanok Village area. This Jeonju Attraction features exhibitions of over 1000 works by famous Korean artists. Some of artists whose work has been displayed here are Sam-man Lee (1770-1845 who was a calligrapher), Jeong-hui Kim (1786-1856 who was a painter, calligrapher and scholar), Hong-do Kim (1745, an artist) and Yak-yong Jeong (1762-1836, a scholar). The Gangam Calligraphy Museum, Jeonju measures 872 square meters. There is a seminar and exhibition area and exhibits 1,162 works of art.
