    Jeonju Hanok Village: Want to have a glimpse of Korean life then visit the lovely Hanok village, located in the city of Jeonju and overlapping Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong. In this village there are over 800 traditional Korean houses called Hanok houses and these are divided into two sections, Anchae and Sarangchae. The village is mainly famous for roof curves. Tourists visiting this village can also taste traditional Korean food.

    Gyeonggijeon Shrine: This shrine is very ancient and was erected in 1410. Some portions of the shrine were destroyed by foreign invasion and the remaining structure was remodeled in 1614. Tourists coming here can see the portraits of King Tae-jo Lee, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, Sun-jong, Cheol-jong and Yeong-jo. This shrine has also become a popular spot for filming traditional television shows.

    Jeonju History Museum: If you are interested in the history of South Korea then you must pay a visit to the Jeonju History Museum. Among the exhibits the notable ones are Donghak Farmer’s Revolution and the exhibit of the organized people’s revolt. There are many other exhibits dedicated to key uprisings and other such important events in Korean history. The museum was opened in 2002.

    Naejangsan National Park: This is huge famous national park located in the outskirts of Jeonju. Tourists coming here can have a glimpse of some beautiful waterfalls such as Dodeok Falls and Geumseon Falls. You can also see different kinds of wild flowers along with azaleas and cherry trees.
