Seodaemun Prison: This place of interest was formerly a prison that was later on converted into a museum. Situated in Seodaemun-gu area, the construction of this structure commenced in the year 1907. At that time Korea was considered as a province of Japan. On 21st October, 1908 the prison was reopened under the name of Gyeongseong Gamok. The prison got its present name in the year 1923.
