Valencia is one of the popular destinations in Spain due to its beautiful natural and glorious heritage. Transportation in Valencia is very convenient. There are many modes of transport. Traveling through plane is the most convenient way to reach Valencia. The International airport of Valencia namely Valencia International Airport is located about 8kms from the city center. The Valencia Maritime Port is the starting point for many cruises. It offers a frequent ferry-boat service to the Balearic Islands. There are many bus routes between this Port and the city center.

Valencia is connected to the main European motorway network by the AP-7 motorway. Arrival and departure of the most of the coach services is done from the Valencia Central Bus Station. The buses between Madrid and Valencia are operated by Samar and Auto-Res. The destinations in the city center are on the walking distance. However, there is an efficient and modern subway and bus system in Valencia. The bus system is quite convenient. Most of the areas are inter-connected by the train. Many taxies are available from all parts of the city. There are daily ferries from Valencia to go to Mallorca and the islands of Ibiza.
