    Bambarakanda Ella: It is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. This is a seasonal waterfall and reaches its peak in the months of October to March. You will be mesmerized by the stream which rushes down the mountain peaks and sways to and from because of strong winds.

    Diyaluma Waterfall: This is another significant waterfall which attracts a lot of tourists worldwide every year. It stretches 13 kilometers from Wellawaya town and some 6 kilometers from Koslanda.

    Duhinda Falls: It is a spectacular waterfall which is fed by a tributary of the Mahawelli Ganga. If you want to visit this waterfall you will have to travel a distance of 5 kilometers from Badulla. After reaching Badulla you will have to trek another 2 kilometers to reach the spot.

    Ravana Ella: This is another popular tourist spot in Sri Lanka and is known as the widest falls in this Island country. If you visit the place you will find the hidden caves. This fall is fed by a tributary of River Kirindi and falls from a height of 30 feet. You can easily see this fall from the Ella- Wellawaya Road.
