The Battle of Stångebro or Battle of Linkoping took place at Linkoping on September 25, 1598, and ended the personal union between Sweden and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. In the battle, an army led by Duke Charles defeated an army commanded by King Sigismund.
