The Lake Victoria situated towards the north of the country, is the second largest freshwater lake in the world. Lake Tanganyika is situated in the western part of Tanzania and is claimed to be the second deepest lake in the world. While the Lake Nyasa is located towards the southwest. The country is home to may wildlife parks like the Serengeti National Park and the Gombe National Park. The Zanzibar Island is situated off the coast of Tanzania.4.52 percent of the land is arable. The climate of Tanzania shows variations due to the geographical features of the country. Climate of Tanzania is characterized by hot and humid conditions all throughout the year along the coastal regions. While the central plateau regions of the country experience dry conditions all through the year.
