The Ewe community worships the well-known statuettes of the twins known as the ibéji. The tribes worship these twins. Sculptures and hunting trophies are used for worshipping. The wood-carvers of the region of Kloto are famous for worshipping the “chains of marriage”. The chains of marriage are two characters that are connected with each other by rings made from single piece of wood.
Arts and crafts of Togo:
One of the famous crafts of the religion is the batiks. This is the art of creating pattern by color dying and is done by the people in the Kloto region. The patterns display vibrant scenes of everyday life in the ancient Togo.
Music of Togo:
Folk music is also popular in the country. The country has produced famous entertainers. The 2 well known person associated with country’s mane are Bella Bellow and Jimi Hope.
