Foa Island: You must also visit the Foa Island which is linked to the Lifuka Island through a causeway. There is also a scuba-diving operator in the Foa Island which offers experts as well as beginners with diving trips. Once in Foa do not forget to visit the Nukunamo Island in the north. Other attractions in Haapai: Besides the above two islands there are other small islands as well. You can take a boat from Pangai village and visit the charming Uiha Island. This island features beautiful beaches, royal burial grounds and there are some interesting archaeological sites to see including an ancient star mound and burial pyramids.
Tourists must visit the large volcanic islands of Tofua and adjacent Kao in the west part of the group. The southern section is dotted with several tiny coral islands surrounded by treacherous coral reefs.
