Amsterdam Tourist Attraction
Beauty prevails in every corner of Amsterdam. The city is built on canals and is known as “Venice of north”. Bursting with cultures, the city has many tourists’ destinations attracting thousands every year.- Anne Franks House: The address is Prinsengracht 263. This was the place where Anne Frank and her family took refuge during the 2nd world war to hide from the Nazis. She became famous after "The Diary of Anne Frank" got published in 1947. The museum holds the history of all those who hid in this house.
- Rijks Museum: This is one of the world’s best museums. It has a splendid collection of paintings from Netherlands. The most famous painting of this museum is the Rembrandt’s Night watch.
- Van Gogh Museum: The name itself suggests that this is the place where you can come across the largest collection of Van Gogh’s paintings. It is visited by over 1.3 million visitors and is considered to be the most popular museum of Amsterdam. The museum remains open from 10 am to 6 pm on all the days and till 10 pm on Fridays. Tickets are priced at 10 euros.
- Stedelijk Museum: this museum reflects the creation of modern art. The huge collection exhibits more than 1000 modern arts some even dating back to 1850. There are paintings of Cézanne, Chagall, Picasso, Monet and Russian artist Kasimir Malevich. There is a coffee shop on the 2nd floor where you can spend some time sipping over a cup of hot coffee. The museum remains open from 10 am to 6 pm and the entry fee is 9 euro.
- Heineken Brewery: This is a brewery museum where you can even check out how liquors are processed and packaged. From here you can taste as well as buy alcohols. Heineken Brewery remains closed on Mondays.
- Vondelpark: This is the largest park of Amsterdam. Flanked by large museums this park is crowded by joggers and morning walkers every day. Amsterdam Sex Museum: This museum has a collection of erotic and pornographic art from the pages of history. The artifacts deal with detailed sexual intercourse. The museum remains open from 10am to 11.30 pm.

Amsterdam Food and Wine: Amsterdam is bustling with restaurants that serve top quality food such as Blakes and Dynasty. With ample number of coffee shops Amsterdam provides sinful desserts.
