Major tourist sites and attractions :
- Alto Vista Chapel: This is a small catholic chapel also known as Pilgrim’s Church. It was built by Spanish Missionary Domingo Antonio Silvestre in 1750.
- Oranjestad: Located on the Southern coast of the western island, Oranjestad is the capital city of Aruba. Dutch colonial architecture could be observed in this extremely picturesque city. The primary shopping area of Aruba is located near the downtown.
- Arikok National Park: This is the hub of the finest and the rarest flora found in Aruba. Exotic cacti, aloe plants, and colorful tropical flowers fill the Arikok National Park which remains open from 8 am to 4pm everyday.
- Bushiribana Gold Mill: A 19th century gold mill is located here. It is believed that a boy while playing found gold here in 1824. Since then for many years local people were allowed to sell gold from here at the governments fixed rate.
- California Lighthouse: Built in 1914, the California Lighthouse is Aruba’s one of the finest landmarks. It is named after a ship named “California” which sailed around the Northwest coast of Aruba in 1891, September. A magnificent view of the sandy beaches could be observed from here.
- Frenchman's Pass: This is located on the Aruba Island. It is a narrow passage between the coral cliffs of Spanish lagoon.
- Hooiberg: This 165 m high hill was a result of volcanic eruptions. It is situated in central Aruba. A 562 concrete steps lead to the hill top from where one can get a panoramic view of the island.
- The Butterfly Farm: There are more than 32 species of butterflies housed by this farm.

Food and Wine: There are a variety of local cuisines you can try out in Aruba. The most famous ones are Stoba di Bestia Chiquito, Keshi Yena, Grouper sandwich and Pastechi. Rum and several other Caribbean cocktails are served in restaurants.
Shopping: The best part of shopping in Aruba is that you won’t have to pay a sales tax. You can buy plenty of colorful clothes and artworks at reasonable rates.
