Geography: The temperature ranging from 25 to 35 degrees, Bangkok experiences a warm temperature throughout the year. Summer rains are a very common factor here, may to October being the rainy season. The land stretches for 1,500 km sq.
History: Bangkok was formerly known as Bang Makok, which was a small trading centre of Ayuthaya. In 1782 Bangkok became the capital city of King Rama I. under the rule of Rama III, Bangkok became a city of temples during the early 19th century. During the world war II Bangkok was occupied by the japanese troops.

Economy: The economic centre of Thailand is Bangkok. The headquarters of all the major commercial banks and financial institutions and the Thailand Stock Exchange are all located in Bangkok. Tourism industry plays the most important role in Bangkok’s economy.
Transport System: Bangkok like any other modern cities of the world have great transport systems. The city is well connected with roads and can be reached from all the cities of Thailand as well as several other countries. Don Mueang International Airport connects Bangkok with the rest of the world. Railways and bus services are at its best here. Taxis and private cars can also be hired easily.
