Major tourist sites and attractions :
- Hana Highway – located between Kailua and Hana, it has 600 twists in its way along with spectacular view of waterfalls, dense forests and lush green mountain valleys.
- Kaanapali – if you are looking for a complete luxury and also sharpen your golf and tennis skills then Kaanapali is the right destination. Hidden between the tropical forests, it is an ideal place to spend the day. It is a 7 km ride from the main city of Maui.
- Kihei – 5 km away from Maui, famous for its beaches, shopping centers and resorts is developing in the fastest speed.
- The ‘Ahihi – Kina’ u Natural Area Reserve covering an area of 818 hectares and displaying variety of marine life, situated in the Makena Road.
- Wai’anapanapa State Park- Wai’anapanapa meaning the glistening water can be reached by taking highway number 360 from Maui. It is known for the lava stone caves and lava stepping stones.
- ‘Iao Valley State Monument – named after Iao, it is located in the Iao Valley Road and has an element of mystery and adventure about it.
