Comprising one of the most frequented Tourist Attractions in Tunisia, the Punic Town of Kerkouane and its Necropolis was declared as a World Heritage Site in 1985. The other World Heritage Site in Tunisia is the impressive ruins of the largest colosseum in the small village of El Jem.
