  • Library of Celsus: Designed with an embellished entrance, this library was built around 125 AD by Gaius Julius Aquila in memory of his father. The façade of this library has been delicately restored from all original pieces.

  • St. John's Basilica: This basilica was built in the 6th century AD under the supervision of Emperor Justinian I. At present, it is bordered by the Turkish town Selçuk.

  • The Temple of Domitian: One of the largest temples of Ephesus, this temple and its statue are among the few remnants related to Domitian.

Other sights in Ephesus include the small roofed theatre The Odeon, The Temple of Hadrian, the Theater, and the Tomb/Fountain of Pollio.
