After a rescue excavation was conducted in Mowaihat, Ajman various artifacts were excavated from the site. These included various soft stones and ceramic vessels which were painted, from the time of Umm al-Nar rule. Other things that were excavated included 3000 beads, two stamp seals and a number of copper implements. The skeletal remains of several dozen individuals who are supposed to be the inhabitants of the area are the other major excavations of the Mowaihat, Ajman.

During the time when the tomb of Mowaihat was discovered it was first of its kind to be discovered henceforth giving the evidence of the Umm al-Nar occupation of the Northern Emirates. The materials that were gathered from the Mowaihat in Ajman take a bulk portion in the display section of the Ajman Museum.
