The Geography of UAE is very simple. UAE is located along the borders of Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf. More precisely it is in between the country of Saudi Arabia and Oman. It is one of the most illustrious Middle East nations. UAE acquires a land area of about 82, 880 square kilometers. The unique aspect of the Geography of UAE is that there are no water bodies in the country.

The coastal areas of UAE are usually salt pans which extend further in land. Dubai possesses the largest natural harbor and is an important aspect of the geography of UAE. Amount of rainfall is very little in the country. Torrential rains in summer months are very common.

UAE enjoys a desert climate. Temperature is usually quite high. Days are hot and sun is scorchy while the nights are comparatively cooler. The eastern mountainous region of UAE is much cooler than the other parts of the country. Frequent sand and dust storms are a special feature of the country of UAE. In the late summer months on e may come across Sharqi, a humid south eastern wind in the coastal region.

The natural resources of UAE is very limited. The country boasts of rich oil and natural gas deposits. But the geographical conditions are not suitable for any other natural development. The terrain of the country is a mix of horizontal and infertile coastal plains which merges into the expanse of desert wastelands constituting rolling sand dunes.

It’s the wonderful geographical location of the country along the southern approaches of Hormuz Strait , makes the place one of the biggest oil export nations. The other features of UAE’s geography include the highest and lowest elevation points of the country. Jabal Yibir is the highest point of UAE measuring about 1527 meters. While the Persian Gulf is the ,lowest point measuring 0 meters.
