Ras al-Khaimah also has an important industrial area known as the Khour Khuwayr industrial area. It is located 25 kilometers to the north of Ras al-Khaimah city. The main port of Ras al-Khaimah is Saqr Port. The Digdaga district in Ras al-Khaimah is well known for its agricultural projects and the biggest pharmaceutical factory in the Gulf.
