Getting to Caracas by car

Colombia and Brazil have road links with Venezuela. Venezuela’s main connection with Colombia is from Cucuta to Venezuela’s frontier town of San Antonio Del Tachira, which itself is about 50 kilometers from the busy Andean city of San Cristobal. Reaching Caracas from Cristobal is a short but interesting journey.

Buses from Colombia ply to the capital of Venezuela. As the buses are in bad condition one will have to undertake a rough ride to the Caracas.
