Dalat Tours is considered to be the best traveling experience as far touring in Vietnam is concerned. Dalat Tours remains in the mind of most of the travelers due to its exotic beauty. Dalat is also known as Da Lat and is located in the south central highlands of Vietnam. This place was originally a playground for the French people who built a number of villas in this place to escape from the scorching heat and humidity of the coastal areas and Saigon which later on came to be known as the Ho Chin Min City.
Dalat has a very high altitude that is about 1500 meters from the sea level. It has a very fertile landscape making it as the premier agricultural area. The place is inhabited by locals and foreign travelers arriving in Dalat from various parts of the world. It can be reached by bus particularly from the Sinh Cafe Hanoi-HCMC bus route. From a place called Nha Trang, Dalat is a 5 hours ride with some small halts in between. From Ho-chin-Min city, the ride to Dalat takes about 5 hours.
Depending on the stay in Dalat, the tourists can roam most parts of the town by walking. The tourists can also catch a "motorbike taxi" for sightseeing. During day time a motorbike can be rented.
Places of interest:
Ho Xuan Huong aka Xuan Huong lake --- This is a lake which is situated at the centre of the town and is open throughout the day. The lake is approximately 5km in diameter and is also an ideal place where tourists can boat or sail in a kayak. The place is very popular for honeymooners.
Thung Lung Tinh Yeu aka Valley of Love: This place is situated in the Phu Duong Thien Vong street and is open daily up to 5pm. It is a common stop for the honeymooners and also for other tourists.
