Halong Bay's sister cities of Bai Chay and Hong Gai are located about 165 kilometers northeast of Hanoi.
Getting to Halon by train:
To reach Halong by train, you can first get to Haiphong in the morning, and then take the afternoon ferry to Bai Chay, which is one of the sister cities of Halong. There are ferries to Halong.
